  • Cooking oil: I use avocado oil. Don't use olive oil because we are cooking the broccoli florets over medium-high heat
  • Optional shredded or grated parmesan cheese

Tips & Tricks

Large broccoli florets take longer to cook. For best results, cut the broccoli into small florets to speed up cooking time!

If you prefer a softer broccoli increase the cook time to 6 minutes. If you prefer a crunchier broccoli decrease the time to 4 minutes.

How to make Blackstone Broccoli

  1. First, wash the broccoli and chop it into small florets.
  2. In a gallon bag or large bowl, add the broccoli, avocado oil, minced garlic, salt and black pepper
  3. Mix until the broccoli is evenly coated.
  4. Preheat the Blackstone to medium-high heat. Once hot, add the contents of the bag or bowl.
  5. Cook for 4-6 minutes until the broccoli is at desired tenderness. 4 minutes for crunchier and 6 minutes for more tender.
  6. Remove the broccoli from the griddle and transfer to a bowl.

Stovetop Directions

If you don’t have a Blackstone griddle or similar griddle, you can make this recipe on the stove. First, get a large cast iron skillet.

Heat the cast iron skillet over medium heat. Add avocado oil to the skillet once hot. Then add the broccoli.

Cook for 4-6 minutes or desired tenderness.

If you do not have broccoli available, try making Brussel Sprouts or asparagus on the Blackstone Griddle.
