Steak butter is also known as Compound Butteror Herb Butter and is a mixture of butter and other ingredients, including herbs and spices.
Steak Butter is very easy to make and you can get creative with your own combinations. Make them as strong as you desire.

Ingredients
- 1 clove garlic crushed
- 2 teaspoons Parsley
- 1 tablespoon oregano
- 2 teaspoons thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon Red Wine Vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Pepper
- 4 ounces Unsalted Butter softened
US Customary – Metric
Instructions
Finely chop the parsley, oregano and thyme and add to a mixing bowl.
2 teaspoons Parsley, 1 tablespoon oregano, 2 teaspoons thyme
Add the remaining ingredients and mix well into the butter.
1 clove garlic, 1/2 teaspoon Red Wine Vinegar, 1/4 teaspoon Salt, 1/4 teaspoon Pepper, 4 ounces Unsalted Butter
Gently spoon the butter into a piece of cling wrap and roll into a log shape.
Allow to set in the fridge before serving. Store in the fridge for up to 3 weeks, or in the freezer for 3 months.

How To Make Flavored Butter
- Finely chop the parsley, oregano, and thyme and add to a mixing bowl.
- Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
