TBF, I think Boyd comes across okay for once in that clip. Clearly raging that his team have let him down (we've all been there), but still able to reel it in at the end and have a wee laugh at his own expense as he's having the p!ss ripped out of him.

As long as you don't expect any sort of neutrality/professionalism from your pundits (and I certainly don't) I think that's okay. The pundits rarely offer any useful insights to the game, so might as well enjoy them winding each other up rather than have equally dull pundit-bots saying nothing interesting while being polite to each other.

I actually don’t mind Boyd when Sutton is on the panel as well. It means it is pretty balanced when it comes to talking about situations.

Boyd doesn't come across too badly in that clip, in the sense that he doesn't look embittered, and you sense he is laughing at himself a bit.

But his analysis remains woeful, non-existant really.

Without a left footer on the left last night meant that their usual chaosball was limited to having to come down the right.

It totally hindered their play. I also wonder if that Silva needs to start every game for them…I hope that’s the case because he is absolutely useless.

Looks like the out of contract players have totally chucked it as well…can imagine their best player this season in Sima has also now got one eye on making sure he’s fit for a return back to his parent club.

Maybe next manager that comes in the media won’t overhype what is pretty clearly a new manager bounce that these players seem to get. They go on about him winning the league cup but he really didn’t beat anyone!
Hopefully we don’t let this get to our heads though, win the next 4 games and we have a final to look forward to and the league effectively all but won!

Was thinking that myself. I usually don't know what their fringe players look like but this one I don't even recall the name.

I know it's an old one but always tickles me.

Neilston bear on ff basically proposing selling the entire team of useless bastards(at vastly inflated fees) except butland. Then investors throw in a few quid, plus get rid of anyone else that's hanging about costing money and Billy's yer uncle.
