He is a genuine academic whose research is worthy of someone who studied at the University of Tokyo.

Silence on Real Political Intervention
One can see the leftist claim that "this government interference in the appointments of the Science Council is an infringement on academic freedom," but this, too, is a logical fallacy.
An infringement of academic freedom is interfering with certain research activities or putting pressure on those who advocate specific theories to silence them.
The papacy of the time, which convicted Galileo Galilei, who advocated the geocentric theory, in a trial, is a prime example.
The same thing is still happening today, some 400 years later.
For example, on October 6, it was reported that the mother of Dr. Qian Limu, a virologist who advocates the theory that the new coronavirus is artificial, was arrested by the Chinese government.
It happened before she published her second paper, the basis for her artificial theory.
This attempt to silence scholars in this manner is the actual government intervention in academic freedom.
Did the leftist academics who advocate academic freedom raise any voices of protest against this?
To begin with, the leftist humanities scholars who have been in control of academic councils have not been defenders of academic freedom but rather have taken positions that infringe on it.
Most emblematic of this is that they have obstructed the academic activities of scientists, for example, by issuing a statement opposing the Defense Equipment Agency's application to the "Security Technology Research Promotion System. They have sometimes pressured universities to stop their participation in the program.
In other words, the Science Council of Japan, not the government, is interfering with academic freedom.
Meanwhile, the Science Council of Japan signed a memorandum of understanding with the Chinese Association for Science and Technology in 2015 to promote cooperation between the two institutions.
According to Tadanobu Bando, a former interpreting agent, the 56 members of the Chinese Science and Technology Association include:
Military personnel.
People involved in drone platform technology at the Liberation Army Weapons Development Company.
People from the China Weapons Industry Group Corporation's Ground Unmanned Weapons Platform Development and Research Center
Suppose they do not cooperate with Japan's defense research but with Chinese military personnel. In that case, this can only be interpreted as hoping that China will invade Japan.
What is difficult to grasp about the reality of the left is that some people genuinely wish for an invasion of Japan by China. In contrast, others do not doubt that a ban on Japanese military research and cooperation with Chinese researchers would lead to peace, and the two are mixed.
I divide the left into three broad categories.
The first is what I call the "core group," those who hate the society and culture to which they belong and intend to destroy it.
Their hatred often stems from their excessive self-esteem and dissatisfaction that those around them do not value them fairly.
To resolve this dissatisfaction, they dream of using China's power to destroy Japan.
The second is the "interest group," aiming to get money and jobs by following the core group.
They are often found in the mass media and the managers of global companies.
Not a few academics, too, are probably bought by money and cooperate with China.
The third group is the "floating class," those who sympathize with the ostensible ideals of the core group.
They act based on a sense of justice, but they often have a vain desire to be thought of as good people, and the core group exploits this.
However, once these people acquire knowledge, they realize they have been deceived and leave the activity.
John Edgar Hoover, the first director of the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation), classified the left (Comintern) into five categories: "open (Communist) Party members," "undisclosed Party members (those engaged in secret Communist Party activities)," "fellow travelers," "opportunists," and "dupes (gullible The first three of these are the core group.
The first three correspond to the Core, the Opportunists to the Interests, and the Dupes to the Floaters.
The core leftists can be described as those who are aiming for the so-called "defeatist revolution.
The idea is to take advantage of the chaos caused by foreign invasion to bring about a communist revolution.
For many years, the existence of such forces was dismissed as a conspiracy theory, but with the release of the Venona papers in the United States, it is now clear that this was a historical fact.
The leftist manipulative activities during World War II and the period before and after can be of great help in understanding the leftist movement today.
